Overview of The Dunateo School of Ministry

I.                    Dunateo School of Ministry (DSM) is more a process than a curriculum.  It has been designed with several key benefits for the busy life of the students.

A.                The five semesters that make up DSM are cyclic in nature.  A student can begin, pause his studies for a time being, and then begin again without complications.  This allows for a variety of schedules, making it most convenient for the student without limiting the effectiveness of the school.

B.                 The time investment for the Local Church leadership, staff, and teaching faculty is kept at a minimum.

1.                  Only one Saturday, and one evening a month are required for the total classroom time.

2.                  The majority of studies are carried on independently by the student, further enabling the overall goal of the school to create life-long learners.

C.                The core curriculum of DSM is centered around the life of your Church.  Services already scheduled are used as “teaching methods,” essentially customizing your vision, philosophy of ministry, and doctrine into the student’s life.

1.                  Attendance of two Church ( church and cell group)  related services per week is required by the student, and their journal is graded to foster the disciplines needed for personal growth.
